The QuickTake 200 was the most mature version of Apple’s short-lived digital camera line, adding a rear color LCD, removable SmartMedia storage, and more camera-like controls at a time when consumer digital photography was still very new. It stands as one of Apple’s clearest early experiments beyond computers, and as the last QuickTake model before the line was discontinued in 1997 during the company’s post-return product cleanup.
