Get strong boot chime. No HD Needs PRAM battery to boot with video out. Without PRAM, you can get it to boot with video, power on, then right after boot chime, power off and then quickly back on.
The LC 475 put a full 25 MHz 68040 into the affordable LC chassis — the same processor as the Quadra 605, in the same small case, at an education-focused price. It was Apple's most capable low-cost desktop of 1993 and became the standard computer in many schools well into the mid-1990s. A significant machine for anyone who learned computing in that era.
